The Dr. Gurdev Singh Khush Foundation for the Advancement of Agricultural Sciences proudly hosted its prestigious Annual Award Function on March 19, 2025, at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana. The event celebrated academic achievement and reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to empowering the next generation of scholars and researchers.
A total of 65 Merit Scholarships were awarded to outstanding undergraduate students from PAU and GADVASU in recognition of their exemplary academic performance. In addition, 48 travel grants were presented to faculty members and postgraduate scholars, enabling them to participate in international educational events. These grants are designed to foster global exposure, strengthen international collaboration, and promote the exchange of innovative ideas in agricultural sciences and related fields.
A special Merit Scholarship was also awarded to the highest-performing student of PAU Model High School, Kaoni, Sri Muktsar Sahib, highlighting the Foundation’s commitment to nurturing academic talent from an early stage.
Since its inception, the Khush Foundation has awarded scholarships to 722 students, each symbolizing a step forward in making quality education more accessible. These awards represent more than just financial support—they reflect the Foundation’s enduring mission to inspire excellence, encourage innovation, and invest in the promise of future leaders.
